There are 15 beds in the clinic, as well as the entire infrastructure necessary to ensure treatment, care and neurological rehabilitation of children in a coma.
Mariusz has been roused!
We are happy to inform that today the Clinic’s medical team confirmed the rousing of another patient!
Nearly 14 year old Mariusz in the middle of July almost drowned in a lake. He was admitted to the Clinic in the middle of September where he started to make incredible progress. Now, to the delight of family and Clinic’s staff, he is now fully roused!
Mariusz is the 12th patient roused In the Alarm Clock Clinic.
The Alarm Clock Clinic for children in coma was built by Ewa Błaszczyk’s Akogo Foundation thanks to the generosity of Polish society. It operates since July 2013. During this period twelve patients roused from coma.
Treatment in the Clinic is free of charge and is financed by National Health Fund and the Akogo Foundation. Through the whole treatment process in the Clinic parent or the attendant involved in the rehabilitation, can stay without any charges.
